Our Mission

Small studio. Big-frame-rate ambitions.

We started OverMatrixLab in a Surry Hills warehouse because we were tired of games that respect your wallet more than your time. Every title we ship has to pass one test: is it still fun with the sound off, on a three-year-old handset, during a two-stop train ride? That constraint shapes everything — tight 60fps controls, honest monetization, and updates that add play instead of pressure. We keep the team deliberately small so designers, engineers, and artists argue in the same room until the game feels right.

What we refuse to ship

  • Pay-to-win loops or energy timers that hold the fun hostage.
  • Ads that interrupt a run instead of respecting a natural break.
  • Frame drops we could have fixed with one more optimization pass.
